2007 Kunmming
Hey, you found the page! I documented my 2007 trip to Kunming here. It was a blast and I want to share some of my experiences with you. Feel free to make comments or leave notes!
First the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
my hip hop dance footage @ 15,000 elevation. Highest hip hop dance recorded in history with shirts off. (That I know of.)

I was lucky. There was a big snow store two days before so the mountain is covered with snow, not common at this time of the year. Plus it was quite sunny when I climbed up. I didn't go all the way to the top though. I only got to 4680 meters. (above 15,000 feet) According to wikipedia, the mountain only been climbed once. I was having problem breathing and could not walk fast.
Then the nightlife in Kunming
Must see: Michael Jackson Dance performed by a friend of my best friend at a night club. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4RP6ASGrig
One of my best friend demonstrate the proper way to shake dice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c28lvu8_9KY
Here is the full footage:
Nightlife is hot. Many stuff are copied from clubs here, like the decoration, but added some Chinese characters, like drinks and greeters. Most people drink only beer in the Club.
Karaoke with friends: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjGuMV2sh2Y
Karaoke room are much more upscale and advanced than any karaoke place in the state I have seen.
Tea!!!
Making tea is an art in Kunmming. My friend, not show in video, is licensed as the "master tea maker". She teaches and charges a tea making class every month. The process is very elaborate. Some tea cost over $100 per pound.

The Interview
I was also interviewed by the nightly news paper of Kunmming regarding my efforts of raising money for cancer research. You can find more information at: http://www.milliondollarflag.org.

Search for "Liyan Guo" in youtube or google video for more videos. Hope you enjoyed them!
Many thanks to Shawn and Dan. I usually don’t like to travel by myself and site seeing. Following the advice of Dan and Shawn, I decided to travel a bit. Visiting the places I have once been. It was very rewarding. I realized how much I have missed. I guess sometimes you look at the same thing from a different angle you see an entire different world.
